This is a simple but enlightening cartoon: an aged grandma sits in front of a mirror talking with herself, “I am rather lonely, because my son and grandson go to work and study.” Apparently, this picture can be naturally associated with a host of lonely old parents.
If youngsters intend to see happy smiles of their aged parents, it is advisable for them to spend more time on parents. In the contemporary society, it has become a trend for a majority of young people to be busy with work and study. Meanwhile, an increasing number of adult children find it difficult to have adequate time to care and accompany aged parents. A case in point is the grandma in the picture. However, it is children’s love and care that enable aged people to build up hope, confidence and passion for life.
